Basic Mat Certification

Pilates Mat exercises are the foundation of Pilates. To truly understand Pilates one must have a strong foundation in mat.

Because not all clients are on the same level we teach the use of "Foundation Exercises" in Basic Mat Pilates Certification to assist you in teaching your clients the foundation of Pilates, to maximize results.

Basic Mat also covers anatomy, cueing, body types and how to adapt an exercise to any client. We also teach when and how to modify an exercise as well as what causes incorrect movement and how to correct it.
